Student Leadership & Employment

Live it! Lead it! Love it!

Our office takes great pride in being a source of student leadership development. We employ, train and develop more than 80 student leaders during the course of an academic year. We have four levels of leadership opportunities and encourage any student interested in enhancing their leadership skills while giving back to new students, their families and the UD community to apply and join our team. The recruitment process begins each fall semester and includes an application and interview. Contact our office for more detailed information.

Recruitment Process

The office of New Student Programs offers two distinct opportunities for graduate students, the Graduate Assistantship and the Graduate Internship.  The graduate assistantship is a year round contracted and paid position that is filled through the Division of Student Developments' Graduate Assistant Interview Conference.  The graduate internship is a non-paid credit based experience that satisfies graduate degree program requirements for Higher Ed and College Student Personnel graduate students.  The internships are secured by meeting with the Director of New Student Programs and are offered each semester.

For more information, please click here for graduate assistantship and here for graduate programs at UD.
