Greek 101

Greek 101 is a series of educational programs for all new members of our values-based Greek organizations and a vital part of new member orientation.  With a foundation rooted in the Marianist Charism and UD’s Commitment to Community document, these experiences guide students through a stronger understanding of themselves, their roles and responsibilities connected to their new Greek identity, and their personal leadership journey.

Participation in Greek 101 is required for all new members during the semester in which they join a values-based Greek letter organization.  Workshops are facilitated specifically by undergraduate peers at UD, with support from Greek Life in the Center for Student Involvement, graduate students, governing council representatives, and valued campus partners, such that the learning experiences for the students and the facilitators provide a direct and lasting impact.
