Get Started - Visitors

If you’re visiting campus, working on a temporary contract basis with UD, or collaborating UD faculty on a research project, you’ll want to know what IT services are available to you and how to access them. Here’s where you can find the information you need to get up and running quickly and easily.

Contractors - Your host may request a University of Dayton username and password for the duration of your stay on campus or your affiliation as a service provider for the University. Your host should allow at least ten business days to ensure your access is ready to go when you arrive on campus.

Guests - Visitors to UD can self-register for access to UDwireless from the “Register for guest network access” link on the Network Access login page. Self-registered accounts provide a network password good for 16 hours and is renewable up to 4 times. [NOTE: Self-registration is not available to UD account holders.]

Guest Conferences - Campus faculty and staff hosting visitors who require long-term or wired network access can request this by contacting the IT Service Center at (937)229-3888 or ITservicecenter@udayton.edu. Your host should allow at least ten business days to ensure your access is ready to go when you arrive on campus.
