Meet the Sisters

National Catholic Sisters Week is celebrated March 8-14 each year. It is a time to recognize and honor the rich contributions that Religious Sisters have made to the University of Dayton and community through the years.



As part of Women's History Month, the Women's Center is honoring 15 trailblazers in an exhibit on the windows of the Heritage Center, Chaminade Hall and Roesch Library.

Lactation Rooms on Campus

The Women's Center strives to make UD as inclusive and supportive as possible for all faculty, staff, and students who are parents. This includes providing access to five lactation rooms across campus. Lactation rooms are comfortable, secure rooms designated for mothers to breastfeed or privately express breast milk.

The Women's Center is a close partner of the Women's & Gender Studies Program at UD. Women's & Gender Studies focuses on the experiences and perspectives of women and considers how gender intersects with other factors and oppressions, such as race and class, to shape all of our lives.
