Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Women's Center, in partnership and collaboration with community partners Artemis Center and YWCA Dayton, presents a month-long art exhibit for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The artwork is by local artists Mark Hassel and Laurie T. Miller, along with clients of the YWCA Dayton and Artemis Center.

Domestic violence, along with other forms of gender based or interpersonal violence, exist in our community. For many survivors of violence, creating art helps in the healing process. Creating artwork is often a journey of healing.

The exhibit is free and open to the public weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM through the month of October.
