Flyer Time: 7:11 p.m. chapel
Junior Lauren Riley will take photos anywhere, but the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception is her favorite spot. “Especially around 6:30, the golden hour for light,” said the communication major. This spring, Riley (left) was among the student photographers busy fulfilling requests for cap and gown photos. Senior Bailey DeMoss, shown pulling the confetti cannon, and her three housemates were among six groups waiting their turn for a pic at the chapel on the Wednesday before finals. Graduates also request their favorite settings — like posing with the campus ambulance, asked for by a member of the student EMS squad. Riley, who also documents weddings, enjoys shooting graduates most of all: “There’s a different energy because they’re so excited.”
