We've moved to an early action admission policy.
As of this year, the University of Dayton operates on an early action admission policy. Simply put, the University has two deadlines for submitting admission materials:
Early Action: December 15
Regular Decision: March 1
Early action is a nonbinding program that allows students to receive their admission and scholarship decisions (and lower their stress levels) early in the year. Students who apply by December 15 are not obligated to attend the University of Dayton; they just have the perk of knowing they've completed the application process and will hear from us in January.
Students who apply by the regular decision date will receive their admission and scholarship decisions later in the spring. -
Join us for the UD/Miami University counselor visit program.
At the University of Dayton, our community stretches beyond the limits of campus to include family members, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the University.
As a high school guidance counselor, you’re part of our community, too, and we want you to experience our campus community for yourself. The high school counselor visitation program will be held April 18 through April 20, 2010.

We're being recognized for our respected, rigorous academics.

The University made The Princeton Review's lists for "Easiest Campus to Get Around," "Happiest Students" and "Everybody Plays Intramural Sports."
For the fourth straight year, the University of Dayton has been ranked as one of the top 10 undergraduate entrepreneurship programs in the nation by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine.
The University is also the number one Catholic university in the nation for sponsored research and development, as well as first in nonmedical research, according to the National Science Foundation. The University attracted $96.5 million in sponsored research this year — a double digit jump from last year. -
Who said Saturdays are for resting?
At the University of Dayton, service is a more than a way of life. As a Catholic, Marianist university, we're taught to put others first and work for the common good. But what good is teaching without action?
This fall, many students will participate in SERVICE Saturdays. Their projects include rehabbing houses with low-income families, neighborhood beautification projects and working with a church and homeless shelter.
