IMRI

In the spirit of Catholic Intellectual Tradition and the Marianist Charism, the International Marian Research Institute (IMRI):

  • Maintains a hopeful commitment to intellectual integration among disciplines, combined with an appreciation for the integrity and autonomy of individual academic disciplines.
  • Resists reductionism.
  • Maintains a disposition to see things in terms of “both/and.”

IMRI students, staff and faculty engage in undergraduate, graduate and faculty research as well as public scholarship. IMRI collaborates with multiple entities including the Department of Religious Studies, the Marian Library and the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives.
