Program Requirements

Students can complete the degree in three summer sessions, with approximately ten semester hours per summer session. Degree candidates have the option of taking required School of Education courses and/or special projects during the school year if they choose, taking the music courses in the summer. Education courses are offered in the late afternoon and evenings. Please note that EDT 661 and EDT 667 need to be taken in successive semesters and EDT 667 is only offered fall and winter terms. An online option is available.

A total of thirty semester hours must be obtained. No more than six semester hours of UD workshops can count toward this degree (retroactive with advisor's approval). Up to six transfer hours can be accepted with the approval of the advisor.
