Bro. Joseph W. Stander Symposium - Day of Research, Creativity and Discovery
In Person
All Day

Since 1990, the University of Dayton has sponsored the annual Brother Joseph W. Stander Symposium to recognize, showcase, and celebrate mentored academic and artistic accomplishments in undergraduate and graduate education.

The Stander provides multiple opportunities to support students, explore other disciplines and topics, and engage with our mission as a Catholic and Marianist University in a unique and powerful way. Please encourage others to support students by attending. The Symposium represents the Marianist tradition of education through community and is the principal campus-wide event in which faculty and students actualize our mission to be a "community of learners."

Undergraduate classes do not meet on the day of the symposium, allowing for participation from the entire campus community. Graduate/Doctoral classes 4:30 and after will meet as scheduled. Graduate classes (or seminars) that might meet before 4:30, are advised to use discretion in making decisions to ensure the needs of graduate students participating in the Stander Symposium are accommodated.
