Professional Experience
After graduating from Central State in 2022, Meiyah moved back to Cleveland, OH and accepted a position as a Title One Teacher at WINGS Academy (now called WINGS Academy School of Innovation) for one school year. Meiyah is excited to plan and coordinate programming that can help students enhance their professional development on the individual and organizational levels. Her goal is to ensure that students can use transferable professional development skills to be innovative in their respective campus organizations and be able to use those skills in their career fields.
Personal Background
Meiyah is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys reading, shopping, listening to music, studying, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.
She is an active member of Cleveland Council of Black Colleges Alumni Association, Inc. and serves in Central State University - Cleveland Alumni Chapter’s Executive Board as the Chair of the Public Relations Committee.
