Profile
Michael Dailey was admitted as an attorney in the State of Ohio in 2010, and immediately started his career as a Public Defender. He has served as both the vice-chair and the co-chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the Dayton Bar Association. He is death penalty certified in the State of Ohio, and is working in the felony division at the Montgomery County Public Defender's Office.
Michael is one of the five founding members of the Montgomery County Trial School, and the revamped Ohio Public Defender Trial School, which is held at the University of Dayton. Together, these programs (which are headed by his partner, Alysia) have greatly improved the trial skills of Public Defenders and private attorneys throughout the State of Ohio.
In addition to being named a Rising Star in February 2019 by the Dayton Bar Association, Michael has published two works in the Dayton Bar Briefs: “A Whole NEW Code” and “Getting Reckless.”
