Mr. Paul A. Madruga has been practicing law in United States for over 20 years, representing individuals, businesses and corporations. Mr. Madruga’s primary areas of legal expertise are in commercial, business, trade and corporate law focusing on dispute resolution, jury/court trials and appeals.

Mr. Madruga has represented businesses and corporations relating to a wide variety of commercial transactions and disputes throughout America and Asia. These include litigation in American state and federal courts, settlement negotiations, business advice, mediation and arbitration. 

During his long legal career Mr. Madruga has represented thousands of clients and litigated hundreds of lawsuits throughout California in both state and federal courts and participated in multiple hearings before California state administrative agencies. Mr. Madruga has also been involved in cases outside of California representing diverse clientele in Nevada, Colorado, New York and China. 

In his later career, Mr. Madruga began representing criminal clients in both state and federal court on charges ranging from drunk driving to manslaughter and is intimately familiar with all phases of the criminal process. 

Mr. Madruga was an Adjunct Professor of Law at both Western State University and Golden Gate University, College of Law teaching Legal Writing and Research and is a published author on constitutional law.

From 2011-2013, Mr. Madruga took a sabbatical and served as an English professor in the United States Peace Corps in Ukraine.  

In 2014 to 2022, he taught a variety of American law courses at East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. 

He is currently practicing law in California.
