Special Benefits

  • Graduating students completing the Honors Program requirements will earn a specially notated Honors or Honors with Distinction diploma.
  • Honors students receive priority registration (as determined by the Registrar's Office each semester).
  • Study spaces are available for Honors students in 120 Alumni Hall and, when available, 016 Alumni Hall. Contact Ms. Jill Talley to reserve Alumni Hall 016 for small-group meetings (up to 15 people).

Additional Resources and Opportunities

Cordell W. Hull International Fellows Fund

Honors students may apply for a one-time fellowship to assist with the costs of international study, research, or service projects. Awards range from $300 - $2000.

Patrick F. Palermo Honors Program Founders Fund

Outstanding thesis projects may be eligible for additional fellowships through the Palermo Fund, which supports thesis projects involving international research, service and leadership, or which advance the realization of a just society.

Students may apply for participation in Honors signature programs such as the DC FlyersGlobal FlyersChaminade Scholars and the Berry Summer Thesis Institute.

Graduate School Guidance and Prestigious Fellowships

Honors staff are available to assist students considering graduate school and students applying for prestigious awards and national competitive fellowships. Click here to learn more about these opportunities.

Honors Art Competition and Exhibit.

Honors students across all majors may participate in the annual juried art exhibition.
