UD Alum, Adjunct Recognized By National Association of School Psychologists

Katie Weber is a practicing school psychologist in southwest Ohio. She graduated from UD's School Psychology program in 2009 and has maintained an ongoing relationship with the program in a number of ways, including as an adjunct instructor since 2011 and as a supervisor to countless practicum students and interns.

Weber is one of just five people across the country recognized by the National Association of School Psychologists as a Model School Psychology Intern Supervisors for 2023

"I consider working with interns to be one of the great joys of my career," Weber said. "I'm thankful for the opportunity to mentor, teach, and learn from them."

Weber's professional interests include early childhood development, PBIS implementation and behavior intervention, threat assessment, traumatic event and crisis response, and the educational identification of Autism.

"She brings a practical and positive approach to her teaching, which students really appreciate," said Elana Bernstein, Ph.D., coordinator of the School Psychology program.  "We are truly blessed to have Katie on our team!"
