Experiential Learning Academic Catalog 2019-2020

By Colleen Kelch

The Office of Experiential Learning (OEL) is proud to present the Experiential Learning (EL) Catalog for Academic Year 2019-2020. The catalog highlights the six key EL focus areas: Sustainability, Community-Engaged Learning and Civic Innovation, Research and Advocacy, Global and Intercultural Learning, Faith and Vocation, and Leaderships and Professional Development. The University of Dayton has an outstanding community of educators and mentors who develop an abundance of EL opportunities both inside and beyond the classroom. The opportunities highlighted in the catalog help students grow, thrive, and explore their vocational paths and purposes.

Inside the catalog you will find a description of the diverse EL programs including community-engaged learning, research, education abroad, faith and vocation programs, leadership and professional development programs, co-ops, internships, project-based learning and more. The catalog also features courses across the academic curriculum which integrate EL, in which students learn-by-doing and apply their knowledge to make a positive impact in the world.

Learn more about the opportunities and programs highlighted in the EL Catalog 2019-2020 and explore the university’s dedication to developing confident, capable, collaborative problem-solvers and servant leaders.
