Need Ideas for Your Halloween Costume?

Need ideas for your Halloween costume? Look no further than UD’s special collections!

Take a peek at our online collections to find inspiration for some seriously unique costumes.

The Our Lady of the Chickens costume is easy, practical, and guaranteed to be unique. All you need is a simple white top, black skirt, and several pet chickens. A nimbus helps too.

Dying to get some use out of that pink frock you purchased 3 summers ago? It’s perfect for a Sister Servants of the Holy Spirit of Perpetual Adoration costume! Just add a white bedsheet for the veil and tunic and you’re all set for trick-or-treating!

Vintage clothing fans might opt for a 1940s Patron of the Marian Library costume. All you need is vintage skirt suit, practical shoes, and coiffed hair (Aquanet anyone?). Don’t forget to visit us and check out a book on Mary for a truly authentic costume.

Happy Halloween from University Libraries!
