Exploring the Life, Works and Legacy of Paul Laurence Dunbar

Join us for a lively series of meetings to learn about Paul Laurence Dunbar’s life and works through the lens of a National Endowment for the Humanities-funded project. Through four sessions in the newly renovated LTC Studio, we intend to explore ways to celebrate Dunbar’s life and influence to and to integrate Dunbar’s life and work into our research, learning, and community engagement. One facet of the series highlights ways that technology can create new ways to access and interpret the humanities. Learning about the NEH-Dunbar project provides an opportunity for faculty and students at UD to explore digital humanities in terms of new scholarly and educational innovations and interdisciplinary possibilities. Finally, the series invites faculty and staff to consider ways to integrate Dunbar’s life and work into their own scholarship and pedagogy.
