Undergraduate Business Programs

Sparks photoOn behalf of our dedicated faculty, I’m happy to welcome future Flyer business professionals as you explore an undergraduate degree at the University of Dayton. We offer eight undergraduate majors: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, International Business Management, Operations and Supply Management, and Management Information Systems.

Whether you choose one major or two (or three!), or choose to major or minor in a program offered across campus, you’ll find that a UD SBA degree will give you the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in a competitive world. That skill and knowledge will lead you to join our thousands of alumni who enjoy extraordinary success (more than 98% of our new graduates are either working or in graduate school).

As an SBA student:

  • You’ll be expected almost from Day 1 to fashion solutions to real problems faced by businesses.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular programs that distinguish you from other business school graduates.
  • You’ll be able to start your own business and run it on campus.
  • You’ll take capstone courses in your major as well as in business strategy to help you hone your skills.
  • You’ll complete our Business Wisdom through International, Service, or Experiential Learning program (BWISE).

Through all these experiences, you’ll develop a love for lifelong learning and develop an appreciation of the importance of living life in service to others.

Our students recognize the value of our program - in a recent survey of graduating seniors, more than 80% reported they were satisfied or highly satisfied with all aspects of our undergraduate program. I encourage you to discover what our graduates already know by visiting the majors and departments through the links to the left and throughout our website. Of course, websites can’t convey the feel of what it’s like to be a UD SBA student. I therefore encourage you to visit us so that you can know firsthand what makes us unique and distinctive.

Warmest regards,
Randy Sparks
