We Are...

For seven consecutive years, the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) has awarded the University of Dayton Dining Services in such categories as 'Best of the Best Retail Operations,' 'Retail Sales (Multiple Concepts/Marketplace)' and 'Special Events.'

There are no all-you-care-to-eat dining facilities located on campus. Student focus groups revealed perceived quality issues and that those with meal plans dined more frequently in the a'la carte venues. 

UD Dining Services uses compostable materials. Included are such items as cups (hot & cold), lids & straws, carry-out containers, all utensils, soup bowls, sandwich wraps and cookie bags.  Each dining facility also recycles bottles, cans and cardboard. UD Dining Services employees are trained to sort food waste, recyclables and compostables to ensure accurate disposal.

The University of Dayton Dining Services proudly supports the institution's commitment to healthy living, serving a variety of locally grown and sourced as well as fair trade products throughout campus dining facilities!
