Finals Week (Roesch’s Version)

A lot going on at the moment? It’s back to December, and you need to calm down with a Taylor Swift-themed finals week. Shake it off with these events and services at Roesch Library. May no tears ricochet; at every table, we’ll save you a seat.

Midnights become my afternoons

Roesch Library will be open 24 hours beginning Monday, Dec. 4. Use your UD ID to enter the building after 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and after 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

It’s nice to have a friend

Visit with UD 4 Paws for Ability dogs and make a friendship bracelet 5–7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, on the first floor across from the leisure reading bookshelves.

So I showed up at your party

Enjoy free pizza starting at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, in the LTC rotunda, ground floor. Sponsored by the UD Alumni Association and Students for University Advancement (SUA).

Starbucks lovers

At tea time, everybody agrees. Sip on free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the first-floor Refuel Zone beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, through Thursday, Dec. 14, while supplies last.

Birth-TAY par-TAY

Celebrate Taylor’s birthday with an iced cookie stamped with the number 13 at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 13, in the first-floor Refuel Zone.

It’s like I got this music in my mind saying, ‘It’s gonna be all right’

Tune out stress with our set list (Spotify), including surprise songs, or scream-sing to these classics (YouTube)

Are we out of the woods?

Explore the intersection of Christmas and nature through the Marian Library’s Nativity sets, artwork and more. Take a break and view Nativities and the Natural World on floors 1, 2 and 7.

Getaway car

As a reminder, Lyft Flyer Ride offers discounted ride rates to students 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

… Ready for it?

Enjoy your Taylor-made finals week, and congratulations on completing your fall semester. Go Flyers!
