Muslim Life at the University of Dayton

In seeking to support students of all faiths, Campus Ministry maintains connections with local mosques and supports the Muslim Student Association in their efforts to celebrate Muslim life on campus.

Student Organizations

The Muslim Student Association is a student organization that connects Muslim students, organizes weekly jummah, and fosters community through programs for both Muslim students and the larger University of Dayton community.

In addition to the Muslim Student Association, the university recognizes various national and cultural student organizations which may be of interest to international students. Find out more about recognized student organizations.

There are halal dining options available at Virginia W. Kettering Hall. This includes Passports, Compass Grill, Mongolian Grill, and the Southwest Bar. All dining locations have vegetarian options available, however they are not strictly dedicated vegetarian and therefore some cross-contamination may occur.

On Fridays at 1:30 pm students meet in the Rike Center multifaith space for Jummah prayer. There are facilities nearby in the Rike Center for wudu.
